Jewellery Care
Sterling Silver 925
All of our jewellery pieces at Taeia.com are in real Sterling Silver 925. This refers to metal containing at least 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is never used, as it is generally too soft for it to be practical.
18K Rose Gold
The Rose Gold collection is crafted from 18K Rose Gold, our vermeil process layers Sterling Silver 925 with 2.5 microns of 18K Gold.
To ensure both your 18K Rose Gold and Sterling Silver jewellery pieces stay in the original condition please follow the following :
- Remove your jewellery when you shower, bathe especially when swimming in the sea or a chlorinated swimming pool. This can permanently damage or discolour your jewellery.
- Avoid wearing your jewellery when using cleaning products and other chemicals.
- Avoid spraying perfume, applying creams or any other liquids directly onto your jewellery.

Cleaning
Clean your jewellery in warm soapy water, ensuring that it is rinsed thoroughly and dried before storing. Alternatively polish your silver jewellery with a soft cloth. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching
How to Store Your Jewellery
Do not store gold plated and silver plated jewellery together. Store your jewellery in a separate jewellery box or secured containers that will prevent them from getting scratched and broken. The different metals will cause other to tarnish or fade colours.
Store your jewellery in an airtight box or anti-tarnishing wooden box to preserve it for a longer time.
It is important that before storing, you wipe off all the sweat from the jewellery pieces and store them in concealed boxes.
